Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct of the Democracy and Media Foundation creates the conditions for a pleasant and safe working environment. The code of conduct aims to protect employees and everyone they come into contact with during their work against any undesirable behavior, ensuring that SDM is and remains a healthy, functioning organization.

For whom
This code of conduct is intended for employees, but also applies to everyone involved with SDM – such as freelancers, members of the management board, or the supervisory board. The code describes the way in which people interact with each other and with professional relations.

Undesirable behavior
Have you experienced undesirable behavior from someone working at SDM? The document describes how to handle this and where to report it. You will find more information about the complaints procedure and the role of the external confidential counselor.
