War victims are entitled to compensation and justice, but usually have to go to court to obtain it. The Nuhanovic Foundation facilitates justice for war crimes. The Foundation contributes to legal costs, maintains a database on legal redress for war victims, and publishes studies on the effects of legal proceedings.

The Nuhanovic Foundation’s litigation fund supports victims of war in the long and costly struggle to gain access to justice. The Foundation also trains refugee lawyers so they can gain an understanding of the legal avenues available for redress and the prosecution of war crimes.
